Welcome to my Blog, DAI505
My name is Yesenia and I'll finally be graduating this Spring 2008 semester =) I'll be receiving my BAIA with a Concentration in Visual Communications and Minor in Marketing. I have to admit I spend alot of my free time (which is rare, but it exist!) lost in my new and numerous past issues of magazines, wondering when it is that my name will show up on one of those mastheads under the art department. This being one of many reasons, my favorite courses were my graphic design, magazine design, production and marketing courses. Although a long shot, my true career aspirations are in high fashion, ethnic publications, that address underrepresented audiences from diverse lifestyles. I've just started an internship at the Alameda Publishing Group, as a production artist, which should be a great start. (more on that later)
